Serj Tankian
Frontman Serj Tankian is known for his cunnign voice and abillity to kick ass. He (like the rest of the band) is Armenian and was born in Armenia. He is a poet and has his own poetry book called Cool Gardens. |
Daron Malakian
Lead guiatarist for the band, Daron is crazy and awsome. He can play funcky fast and also does a little vocals himself. |

Shavo Odadjian
He is the Bassest for the band. His tradmarks are hardly ever wearign a shirt on stage and his braclet with liek 3 inch spikes on it. Despite the danger of the spikes Shavo can rock liek the best of them. |
John Dolmayan
The awsoem drummer for the band. He is extremely good and I have many troubles playing his music. He is the quietest member of the band and doesnt really get quoted much at all. But its ok we still love him.

The first album
This is the cover of their first album. I think the president of STAND anti-tobacco people really liked system of a down so he decided to use the CD cover and just write stand on it. But thats just my theory. |
